Magan Magan is a writer and a poet based in Melbourne, Australia.

Magan is the author of From Grains to Gold (Vulgar Press, 2018), a collection of poems about grief. He co -edited of Growing Up African in Australia (Black Inc, 2019) and Volume 7 of Australian Poetry Anthology. His work has been published in The Saturday Paper, Cordite Poetry Review, The Suburban Review, and The Lifted Brow amongst others. His latest chapbook Stop All The Clocks (Verity La La, 2024) contains twenty one poems, each poem responding to a film close to Magan’s heart. In this small collection he explores the relationship with his abusive mother, leaving Islam and coming to terms with being gay.
